Youth Cultural Celebration

In anticipation of the rededication of the Boise temple, the youth in the region were part of the Youth Cultural Celebration.  It was a huge undertaking and the youth practiced twice a week for 6 weeks.  The 12-13 year-olds were only able to watch and be part of the flag waving at the end.  Since I am over the Beehives, I was able to be a chaperone and be in the Taco Bell Arena with the youth.

President Monson was so fun to watch.  The youth treated him like a rock star and he was so cute about it.  He egged on the cheering a bit and he had fun with the youth.  It's a different side of him that you don't always get to see.

The camera on my phone takes terrible pictures.  The first was of President Monson walking in .  The second was the youth in our stake performing. Ours was of Boise State playing football.

  1. I didn't realize the arena was so big, and they still didn't have seats for everyone!
